Wow, there’s been a lot of events I haven’t posted about! Let’s start with the most recent because sometimes, my memory lapses, and SOMEHOW I didn’t realize it is already Aug. 31st!! SHIZZ! I leave for Australia in two weeks!

Saturday, Dani, Rose (& Brandon), Erin (& David), and Kiley (all Austin blog girls) started at 2PM and did a round of tacos at Polvos (+ horchata), Sugar Mama Bakery’s 1st Anniversary (free casserole, cupcakes, and drinks!! w00t), then Austin Handmade Market. Afterwards we headed back to my apartment with the intention of swimming in the pool but ended up hanging out and talking. Participated in a crazy pillow fight at the Congress bridge while waiting for the bats to come out. I mean, c’mon I was just trying to defend myself!! Pics & Vid of that soon! Attempted to eat at Homeslice but ended up going with Gueros. We were tired after that Zzzzz being out and about for 7 hours is tiring!! I took a rest for a few hours trying not to fall asleep and headed out to see my band, Drew Smith play Momos’ 9th Anniversary party. Packed! Fun! Brooklyn Lager is really tasty!

Here’s Aug. in photos. Dilly came and went (most of her visit is on film..gotta get those developed!). I did capture Austin Handmade on digital though. Kristy and I made a vegan asparagus tart. They came out yummy. We went to the Cathedral of Junk! I’ve perfected some recipes- Tofu Agedashi and Vegetarian Pasta Carbonara (recipes in another post!)
