The best part about a West Coast tour is EATING (oh and weather). I’m really going to try hard to document all the great places to eat in this country.

My blog has been neglected due to work obligations (simultaneously having 3 jobs with deadlines all approaching is rough) so here’s an update.

1.) 3 year-old bday party was actually fun. When I first arrived I was overwhelmed by the number of children running around! My head screamed for me to leave every 30 seconds. After I ate some free breakfast tacos (the party started at 10AM…the EARLIEST party I’ve ever been to!!) I calmed down a bit and ‘embraced’ the situation. Watching 1-9 year old neighborhood kids play in a HUGE blow up waterslide is really fun. Kids are so carefree and it made me wonder when the last time I had that much fun was (sober). Watching kids beat the crap out of a candy filled pinata scared me a bit..That is SUCH a violent activity! For anyone wondering, I got Dor an imaginary sandwich making set (well there are real pieces for imaginary sandwich eating) and a 200 page coloring book by Taro Gomi who apparently wrote ‘Everyone Poops,’ which is all the rage for parents to read to their kids these days. They were hits.

2.) Hung out with some cool Austin bloggers. Jillian, Dani, Rose, and Erin. This was really fun, I hope it happens again. I also want to KEEP some friends in this town. I’m lonely

3.) Met with the future roommate and talked design. I will be paying a LOT more than what I have been paying, so I look forward to making it truly a home.

4.) True Blood…umm I’m an addict now. Uhh quite riske for what I’m used to watching but it is interesting. Still need a new show to replace my Terminator: Sarach Connor Chronicles though. boo

ALSO, THIS IS MY BIRTHDAY MONTH SO I’M BRINGING OUT THE TIP JAR!!!!

P.S. I want one (even though they creep me the F out!)
