Fall tour(s)

Posted on 11 September 2010 by maisquared

So..I can finally announce what I’ll be doing (if you didn’t know already)

I am going to be touring with Ok Go starting in October. They’ll be the biggest US band I’ve worked for up to date so I’m nervous and excited.

That tour then leads into Pierce the Veil’s fall tour.

The one thing I am really sad and torn about is not being able to work for Ben Kweller this fall. He’s my family, he’s never done a US tour without me minus 2 years ago when I had to go back to school one fall. I hope I dont have to choose between my current endeavors and my future endeavors. It’d be like choosing between your mom and your dad during a divorce. I hope I’ll get to do the next tour with him but you never know. He may find someone he loves touring with who isn’t as busy as me and we’ll just have to see..

This industry is so unstable. I went from having no work for 3 months to working nonstop for 6 months. I can’t turn work down if it comes my way because you just never know if the next time I find a tour will be 6 months from now. Scary things like mortgages make me realize I live in reality. I am very stoked about my new tour and the new people I’ll be working with. More excitement and uncertainty, I just hope I can handle it!
