things i’ve learned so far
- I will treat venue merch sellers like gold. I will never come into a venue thinking that the venue seller is just a local.
- Play nice. I work with a lot of men..sometimes it takes a lil getting used to working with women.
- Be open to other/new ideas. It doesn’t pay to be stubborn.
- It’s not a competition. I’m really competitive and unnecessarily so. I hate people who always have to try to one-up you. I’ve noticed I’m becoming that person..why? I dunno. I don’t need to be better than anyone else, I just have to be a better person for myself.
- I’m too controlling. I want to do everything. Sometimes I need to take a back seat to other people’s leadership roles. It’s about respect.
- Be gracious that I’ve been given so many responsibilities in such a short time span. And hope there is a need for me when I come back.
- Be gracious with compliments.
- There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Sometimes I say things and I don’t mean them to come out as egotistical and arrogant as they sound.
- Take a snack because 7 hrs of interning makes you hungry. this past week all i’ve been eating for lunch is ramen because is keeps me full for 8 hrs. no joke.
- Take airborne and plenty of vitamins and do what you do on tour to prevent getting sick. fail.
