I am really excited about moving into my new place. I’m really putting a lot of thought into what I want my room to look like and what I want my living room to look like. My room now is pretty quaint. I think I’ve done a great job at making it my own despite it being REALLY tiny. I’ve incorporated a lot of vintage finds with DIY projects and newer items, which makes me really proud.

I would really love a movable sectional but they are really expensive and the ones in my price range look REALLY uncomfortable (Liz, I wish I had a couch like yours haha)!! I stumbled upon this great site that has instructions on how to make your own sectional sofa and I am so down! This will be a great project to do with my dad when he is feeling up to it. Last summer I sanded my dresser down, repainted it, and then stripped the paint off to give it a shabby chic look. This year, I want to replace the hardware on it and try my hand at this sectional. The first thing I’d have to figure out is where to put the couch though. If it isn’t leaning against the wall than that could be a problem!! Oh yah, she also has a pretty sweet wall mural. A forest in the living room!

I also have a love seat that I’ll get a cover for (once the color for the living room is all picked out) that will give people who really need some good back support haha.
