Hi Denver. Why are you raining so hard? It is the second day of tour and already we’ve had two accidents! First, Dorian (the baby on board) bumped his head on the door and has a small cut on his forehead. Then his daddy had a 100+pound amp fall on his foot. Not broken but majorly bruised..MAJORLY (like, it looks broken! Especially on the first day). He’s wearing a boot, hobbling around and milking it for all it’s worth.
Today he was on his way to the park when he figured he couldn’t make it all the way..all of a sudden a fan shouts at him
“KWELLER!! KWELLER!!” and Ben gets them to stop in the middle of 3-lane traffic, they pick him up and drive him to the park..Ha That’s an example of the power of Kweller..he also got a random stranger to pick him up and take him back to the hotel..I’m glad he’s alive after that one haha. Ben’s got charm though, he’s an entertainer and I am sure that is a good quality to have.
Pictures of our bus soon. It’s big and purple and my favorite driver- Kayle is driving us. WITH his wife. I love this husband/wife duo. They are so young and good looking it makes me sick! Can’t wait to get to the West Coast. I wanna see friends and eat good food and contemplate life.
Had a pseudo intense conversation with my tour manager this morning at Pete’s Kitchen (great Denver diner) about what to do when we get too old or tired for touring..gah I DONT KNOW! What am I to do with my life? What do I want to do? Who the hell knows. I used to know. I had goals that led me there and now I’m scattered and I hate this feeling.
