Johnson’s Backyard Garden! CSA! yum-o
It comes out to about $15/week. Not bad for the amounts of meals I can make out of these things. To be honest, I had to google what a lot of these things were, but I got:
- carrots
- Turnips Radish– ok Johnson’s Backyard has nice pictures of everything they grow sooo yah..
- Dill (?!)
- kale <–not sure…the leaves are smoother than Kale usually is..guess we’ll see!
- pak choy
- Sweet and hot peppers
- red potatoes
- butternut squash
- tomatoes
I already know I’m going to use the dill with the potatoes. Dill always reminds me of Scandinavian cuisine, but I rarely use it. Now I have the chance to! Everything else is kind of up in the air..but I’ll keep you posted with what I end up making!
