I haven’t posted in foreverrrr.

I’m currently sitting in the back lounge writing this message while the dudes are partying it up hard before our day off tomorrow..Much needed..Much deserved. Can’t say this is the hardest tour I’ve been on (that honor goes to Warped Tour 2010), but I’ve never been under so much pressure! It’s kinda been a lonely tour, everyone is incredibly busy and I hardly see the band. I thought 6 weeks would be plenty of time to get to know each other but as we approach the last two weeks of tour (5 more shows until one week with Metric), I realize that I really don’t know anyone! I’m still scared of the singer!! He’s not mean, and he’s friendly, just not very talkative to me. I know I am doing a good job merch wise but here I am, the first time ever, where I feel like the band doesn’t really connect or understand me. That has just as much weight in re-hiring as performance. Regardless, I’ve learned a lot from this tour and I hope 2011 brings me just as many new and exciting things.

It’s comforting to know that in a few weeks I’ll be amongst my friends in PTV, but I’m kinda scared about that too! Warped Tour is such a different experience, it’ll be interesting to see how it all works out on a regular tour. It won’t be as stressful as this OK GO tour has been for me, but at least I know that I’ll be amongst many friends.
