I love touring, I especially love eating!

Tour is a good time to explore, I especially love van tours because we can actually drive places (normally in a bus tour we are limited to things near the hote, the venue or wherever we can walk to)!

We drove (or my TM drove) 12 hrs yesterday to get to Albuquerque all so that we could have a full day off today. Lunch was at a special Diner’s, Drive-ins & Dives hotspot- Sophia’s Place. It got some awesome reviews on yelp & was on Diner’s Drive-ins & Dives so that was all it took to get us there! It’s a really cute spot that has 8-10 tables and you order directly at the counter. There’s a nice outdoor patio but it was too brrr to eat outside. It’s warmer in NYC than it is in Albuquerque today!

I got the blackened shrimp& black bean quesadillas and it was YUMMY.

Albuquerque always surprises me. It’s so beautiful and intriguing to see snow lined mountain tops and… desert. The boxy, pueblo styled homes are so beautiful and unique to this area. Last time I was here, it was unbearably hot and this time it is really really cold!

The day before we stopped by my favorite fast food joint- Steak& Shake! ha! you may think, what the heck can a vegetarian eat at Steak&Shake? Well, I like to get the grilled cheese with tomatoes & grilled onions..yumm..and always a shake! double yum!

I never knew being a first time home-buyer would be so stressful. Honestly, I thought I’d be done with this process but my most previous offer was just declined and I am so emotionally drained. You fall in love with something and then you loose it and it’s hard to imagine anything else. So many what-ifs run through your mind but honestly, things happened that were beyond my control and my eyes were opened to some really sketchy dealings on the other side. *sigh* back to the drawing board.
