Wow, Warped Tour. That went by fast.
Other than my backpack with my passport, laptop, tip money, and band’s merch money being stolen it ended on a really good note! Everything ended up getting returned to me, which I have karma to thank. I hope the person that stole my backpack to begin with gets everything he deserves x 10 fold. It was a sad day for me. I cried the hardest I’ve cried in a long time and it did leave a sour note for the end of tour but it’s ok. I really don’t think I’d do Warped Tour again, if I did, I wouldn’t do two jobs. But regardless, the boys didn’t seem as scary as I thought they were going to be and I met a ton of great people. I really tested my boundaries and what I could do and when to ask for help. I got really tanned and learned how to deal with the heat. I also didn’t take shit from people and learned how to hold my own. My best friend would be proud. It’s weird to say this, but, I feel like I learned a lot of life skills from Warped tour, ones that I didn’t get from touring for 4 years. It’s really weird and funny. I never thought Warped Tour was ever in my cards but in the end it all worked out and I miss my ‘lil WT family like crazy.
Currently sitting in some conference room in Norman, OK. Listening to Ben Kweller soundcheck outside while I blog.
Making my new condo cozy. My new roommate moves in today, a.) never met him b.) found him on clist and c.) ii’m in OKC so let’s see how this works!! I hope all my stuff is there when I get back and this isn’t some sort of crazy scam haha BK made me super nervouusssss. I know I’m crazy, but seriously my clist finds have not been crazy and most have been sane and I’ve done a lot of internet stalking so I’m hoping it all works out!
Anyways, pics of new condo sooon
