Hi! My name is Mai Huynh (my win). The moniker ‘maisquared’ was given to me by a high school friend because friends and family often call me MaiMai (hence Mai² )= Maisquared. Here’s the gist about Maisquared.

I caught the traveling bug. I caught it when I was born. By the time I was 4 I had lived in 4 countries and traveled to countless others. I love to cook. I love to have dinner parties. I don’t like to stay in one place (though Austin has made me want to). I love indie films and discovering music. I love band sleepovers! I love to challenge myself. I love being spontaneous. I love waking up and not knowing where I am (not because I got drunk and blacked-out though). I love meeting new people. I love to be on planes. I love to be on tour buses. I love my life.

I’ve kept a journal since I was 5 and started blogging in 2000. Over the years my blog has transformed from something private and secret to a more open forum for people to get to know me through my adventures, lifestyle and work. Here, I try to showcase the projects I am working on as well as my personal life here in Austin, TX. My life is very unconventional and that’s the way I like it. I love my work and I love working so let my passion translate into opportunities for YOU.
