In less than an hour I’m going to go pick up my old college roomate, Dilly. Dilly and I didn’t really become close until we lived together Senior year! I didn’t even know her until Junior year! Had had the same circle of friends, but kept missing each other. It probably had something to do with the fact that I met a lot of my friends in college through ALANA weekend, which Dilly wasn’t a part of. She’ll hate me if she knew I put this photo of her on the interweb but haha

Anyways, it is her first time in Texas. Her first time in Austin and I am going to show her a good time!! Expect to see lots of food/ touristy posts on here She is here for 5 days and we’re gonna make it a fun five days!

Tomorrow there’s that awesome event at Sagra…gah hope the food isn’t gone by 4:30!!! I’m also selling merch at the Amy Cook/Ben Kweller show at Mohawk. Ben goes on at 9ish..it is supposed to be a surprise gig but I really hope there’s not 1200 people that show up. Twitter is abuzzing about it. It’s hot. I hate the heat.

I have to miss my other band’s show at Momo’s though Which really depresses me. If you don’t like Ben Kweller or don’t want to pay $8, you should go to Momo’s instead and catch Drew Smith!! He’s on at 9:45PM and he is also doing a residency at Momo’s every Wednesday night w/ special guests (maybe oneday it’ll be Ben Kweller). He’s also doing Momo’s Anniversary show. There’s write up by Recycledlovesongs. I was too lazy to write it.
